Saint Lazarus of Jerusalem
The Hospitaller Order of St. Lazarus of Jerusalem is an international, historical, charitable organization that espouses the values of the historical Knights of Lazarus. Neither the United Grand Priory nor any of the national Grand Priories claims to be a continuation of the original Order of Lazarus. The United Grand Priories traces its roots to the founding of the United Grand Priories in 1995 (where the South Africa Grand Priory was one of the three founding members). Since then, branches (Grand Priories) have been established in more than 40 countries.

Member Grades
To follow a list of member grades of the Hospitaller Order of St. Lazarus of Jerusalem.
Clergy can choose to join as ecclesiastical members - the grades are Sub-Chaplain [equivalent to Officer] (SubChLJ) - Chaplain [Commander] (ChLJ) - Senior Chaplain [knight/dame] (SChLJ), and as a Prelate for grades above IV and above.
